Lexiophiles Top 100 Language Blogs 2010

Top 10 Language Teaching Blogs 2010 Top 100 Language Blogs 2010

I suppose I ought to be honoured to be ranked among older and more professional blogs from all over the world, especially when this blog isn't yet one year old, but I can't help feel I've let all those who have taken time to vote for me down. I'd like to thank all these people again. Don't worry - we'll try again next year! Meanwhile, I'll try to carry on improving this blog, to carry on finding ways to help you learn this wonderful language called English, while having fun at the same time.

THANK YOU!

  5. You should't feel bad about not winning a popularity contest, especially after all the shameful self-promotion that went on.

    Keep up the good work.

Thanks, Ludus. I know I shouldn't feel bad. Coming in at #8 is as good as winning, considering what I am up against, but you know, the kids got all excited, especially when we were doing so well at the voting stage. Anyway, it''s been great fun!

Thank you, José. Half of the credit for the eighth place goes to the students from Tarahales. Convey my gratitude to them, please. They'll have to work harder next year as half of the world will be looking at their work! ;)

Congratulations, Chiew! You should be proud of the work you do here, and the award will help more people discover (and appreciate) the resources you provide.

We'll all continue to challenge each other to be the best we can!

Thank you, Barb. Yes, you bet I'll continue to 'challenge' the rest of you! ;)
People often ask me, 'So, what do you get if you win the award?'
Ha, I always tell them 'recognition', that someone appreciates the work you do. The more traffic that passes, the more likely someone will benefit from your work. :)

So, I'll be around next year!

The first word that comes to my mind is congratulations. It's obvious you've spent long hours working in this blog and we all appreciate that. Don't feel you've let anybody down. On the contrary, we're all extremely proud of having such a valuable person as you certainly are in our CLIL team.
